The latest generation L.E.D. (Light Emitting Diode) curing lights offer all that is expected of this new technology and the most recent design developed by Satelec® combines power, efficiency and speed: - its power (1,250mW/cm²) is greatly superior to that of most halogen lamps and nearly as efficient as plasma lamps, without raising the temperature; - it emits light in the most efficient part of the spectrum, suiting all types of composites currently available: camphoroquinone (470nm), PPD or PAB (430nm); - it takes only 6 to 12 seconds to polymerize 3mm of any composite

Orthodontists
use curing lights every day, however, the curing materials they generally
use are bonding agents that polymerize in visible light. These bonding
agents are applied on brackets, several of which the orthodontist will
place in sequence before polymerizing them to fix them to the patient's
teeth. This procedure demands fast, efficient curing so that the
practitioner's existing adjustments are not affected during
polymerization. It was with this in mind that we developed the Mini
L.E.D. ORTHO. It includes: Booster Tip (5.5mm light guide specially
designed for orthodontics) is an amplifying light guide (available as an
option with our other lights) for fast and powerful curing at 2,000
mW/cm². Curing modes that do not offer progressive or pulsed illumination
but which utilize the best of Mini L.E.D.'s optical powers: 3 exposure
times (12s / 8s / 4s).

The Autofocus function calculates automatically the necessary illumination time for curing all types of composite through 2mm.
The Laser target ring guides light projection to give maximum lamp power precisely at the polymerization site.
Power density of 2200mW/cm² to 3 000mW/cm²*: the most powerful L.E.D. lamp on the market!
